Thanks BPW Regina holds dinner meetings each month for its members and guests from September through June, usually on the third Monday of the month.  Each meeting includes dinner followed by a speaker or panel of speakers chosen to enlighten or educate our members.

October 23, 2018:
**SPECIAL EVENT ** - 40th Annual Careers Unlimited
2018 is the 40th year that BPW Regina has organized and hosted Careers Unlimited.  The event pairs high school girls in grades 10, 11 & 12 with female professionals from various careers.  Students have the opportunity to discuss the particulars of careers with women who actually work in those fields.  There is also a trade show for the students to visit and a $500 bursary draw.

November 19, 2018:
*** SPECIAL EVENT ***  BPW Regina's 19th Annual Fashion Show & Silent Auction
A fashion show/silent auction event raising funds for BPW Regina's educational bursary program.  This year our event features the designs of Natalia K, and fashions from ZOE Shoes + Objects and Bib and Tucker Clothing.  Marie-Véronique Bourque will provide musical entertainment during the event, featuring songs from her new CD.  This is a great event to enjoy with friends or family and get some early Christmas shopping done at the silent auction.

Appetizers and Strategic Planning

We're using the results of a recent membership survey to drive a strategic planning session.  If you are a past BPW member, a casual event attendee or have been thinking of joining BPW this is a great event to attend!  Get involved as we discuss the survey results and how that will influence our planning for this year and beyond.

March 18th, 2019:
How Local Immigration Partnerships support communities
Our speaker, Carol Brouwers is the project coordinator of the Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP).  Carol will share how local immigration partnerships, and in particular the Regina LIP, work to support communities.  Carol will be joined by Saba Kahn, a co-worker from RRLIP who will discuss the challenges she faced as an immigrant woman entering the labour market.

April 15th, 2019:
Managing #MeToo - Balancing Employee Protection and Corporate Brand
This month’s event is a wine and appetizer event with a bit of a twist!  The event will be hosted at Hanger and Rack, a new ladie’s consignment store in Regina (250 - 2410 Dewdney Avenue).  Browse the store while enjoying appetizers and wine.  During the event, Jeanne Martinson will give a brief talk on managing #MeToo.

First we'll hold our AGM.  As we review the board reports, consider whether you'd be interested in volunteering as a board member.  We have a number of positions coming available this year and volunteering on a non-profit board is a great way to garner valuable experience.
After the AGM we'll host a session on linkedin.  We'll work online as we showcase some strategies to increase your profile and network so feel free to bring your device (laptop, ipad, smartphone) and work along with us.

Ovarian Cancer: Why is it still a mystery?
Panel of speakers including an advocate for ovarian cancer survivors, an ovarian cancer survivor and a medical professional working in this specialized field.

October 18th:
Celebrating the Impact of BPW Bursaries
Panel of speakers including a teaching staff member from Canadian Harambee Education Society who taught in Kenya at their school for girls.

November 17th:
Silent Auction and Fashion Show
Fabulous clothes by Fashion Statement and great silent auction items to raise funds for our bursary program.

December 13th:
Launching the Holidays with Laughter Yoga

January 17th:
Women in Politics Panel
Three female politicians (one entering politics, one currently in politics and one having left the field) addresses the pros and cons of women pursuing political office.

February 29th:
Celebrating BPW Internationally
This event focuses on BPW's roots and efforts at the international level and features our recent bursary winner in the mature woman category.

March 21st:
SANE Program
This panel features a speaker from the SANE program, a new initiative to minimize trauma for rape victims.

April 18th:
Economic Status of our Community and Province

May 16th:
Annual General Meeting and Financial Panel
This panel addresses the financial hiccups women experience as they start or change careers, businesses and relationships.

June 20th:
